Forms, contact and specialty blocks
The remaining blocks: two ways to put a form on a page, a careers listing, a member/licence lookup tool, a guided letter generator, and the interactive regional map also used on the homepage.
Form Block
Embeds one form built in Forms (see Site forms and submissions), with a heading above it.
Fields that matter: the usual header fields (see Layout and highlight blocks), Form (required — choose the form you built there).
Use Form Block when you just need a form dropped into a page. For a form paired with hand-typed contact details (hours, address, phone, social links) in a two-column layout, use Contact Block instead.
Contact Block
A two-column "get in touch" section. The left column is all typed directly into this block — subtitle, heading, a contact heading line, Business Hours, Address, Email, Phone and social links. The right column embeds a form from Forms the same way Form Block does.
Fields that matter: left column — Subtitle, Title, Contact Heading, Hours, Address, Email, Phone, Social Links; right column — Form Title (defaults to "Send Us a Message") and the Form itself (required).
Use Contact Block when the page needs a full "contact us" section with its own details, not just a bare form.
Job Openings List
Pulls from Job Openings (see Job Openings). Selection Mode is Manual — pick specific openings — or All, which additionally asks which Listing Type to show: Current Job Openings (Texas REALTORS) or Other REALTOR® Associations in Texas — matching the same choice made on each job record.
Fields that matter: the usual header fields, Enable Search, Selection Mode, Job Openings (Manual) or Listing Type + Show Pagination (All), Items Per Page.
Broker Lookup
A name/TREC-number search tool, not a relationship field — visitors type a name or licence number and the block searches your live member data directly. The one thing you write is the No results message, shown when nobody matches.
Fields that matter: the usual header fields, No results message.
Write the no-results message carefully. It's telling a visitor that the person they searched for is not a Texas REALTORS® member — the code comment behind this block calls that "the most consequential outcome of the search," since it means the Code of Ethics doesn't apply to that person.
DTPA Letter Generator
A single-purpose, three-step guided tool: a disclaimer the visitor must accept, a set of claim paragraphs they check off, and an auto-assembled printable letter. You write the disclaimer text, the checkbox label, the how-to intro, each claim paragraph (its checkbox label, guidance text shown while choosing, and the paragraph inserted into the letter), and the letter's opening and closing text. Several of these fields accept placeholder tokens — for the date of the letter, the attorney's name, the date of receipt, the claimant's name, and the member's own name, title, firm, address, phone and email — which get filled in automatically when the letter is assembled. The field's own description in the CMS lists the exact tokens and the curly-brace syntax they use; copy a token from there rather than retyping it from memory — an unrecognised token prints exactly as written instead of being replaced.
Fields that matter: Disclaimer, Agree Label, How To Intro, Claims (label/guidance/body per row), Letter Template (opening/closing).
This block only makes sense on one page — the DTPA letter tool itself. It isn't a general-purpose content block.
Regional Map
The same interactive, click-to-explore regional map used on the homepage (see Editing the homepage), also available as an ordinary page block. Choose 2 or more Regions from the Regions collection (see Regions) — each region must have a unique Region ID, which the block checks for you.
Fields that matter: the usual header fields, Regions (required, 2 or more).
The map itself and each region's associations/member counts are maintained on the Regions screen, not here — edit the data there and it updates everywhere the map appears.
