System screens you can ignore

A few things in the CMS exist for the system rather than for you. They're listed here so that when you come across one you know it isn't something you've missed.

None of these need your attention. If one looks wrong, report it rather than changing it.

Search

Under Site Features. This is the index that powers search on your website — a copy of your pages, news and events kept in a form that can be searched quickly. It maintains itself. Don't edit or delete entries — if site search is missing something you've published, report it rather than fixing it here.

AI Search

Under Site Features. A separate, more advanced search index that powers AI-assisted search results. The only thing on this screen is a Reindex all content button, which rebuilds that index from scratch in the background.

You shouldn't need this in normal use — it exists for the rare case where the AI search index has drifted out of step with your content (after a bulk import, for instance). It's safe to click, but it can take a while to finish, and there's no need to click it "just in case."

Event Sync Logs

A record of every data sync your association runs — events, members, affiliates, courses, the NAR M1 extract — is kept for troubleshooting, but there's no screen for browsing it directly in the left-hand menu. If you need to check sync history, use Tangilla Data Imports, which shows recent runs and lets you trigger one manually. Contact support if you need older history than that screen shows.

Content Import

A bulk-loading tool used during setup and migrations. Leave this alone unless someone has asked you to use it and told you exactly what to do. It isn't linked from the left-hand menu at this site, so if you haven't been given a direct link to it, you don't need it.

Payload Jobs / Job Statistics

Background tasks the CMS runs on its own — see Job Statistics if you want more than a glance at this.
