Research reports

Research Reports and Research Report Editions are both under Content in the left-hand menu. A report (e.g. "Quarterly Housing Report") is the container; each year's edition — its PDF, its infographic — lives underneath it.

Setting up a report

  1. Click Research Reports in the left-hand menu.
  2. Click Create New.
  3. Fill in the Title.
  4. Choose a Category — Real Estate Trends or Profile Reports.
  5. Write a short Description and add a Card Image for the listing.
  6. Set Members Only if the report should be restricted.
  7. Save as a Draft while you work, then Publish.

Adding a yearly edition

  1. Click Research Report Editions in the left-hand menu.
  2. Click Create New.
  3. Choose the parent Report.
  4. Set the Year.
  5. Attach the PDF — required.
  6. Add an Infographic image, if you have one.
  7. See below for the AI summary.
  8. Save as a Draft, then Publish.

The AI summary

Each edition has a Generate summary button. Click it and the CMS reads the attached PDF and drafts an AI Summary for you.

The generated summary is never published on its own. It fills in the AI Summary field as a starting point — review and edit it before publishing, the same as any other draft content. Treat it as a first pass, not a finished summary.
