Regions

Regions is under Site Features in the left-hand menu. It holds the data behind the regional map on your homepage — Texas REALTORS® is organised into numbered regions, and this is where you maintain each region's tab and its list of local associations.

Editing a region

  1. Click Regions in the left-hand menu.
  2. Open the region you want to change (or Create New for one that doesn't exist yet).
  3. Set the Region ID — this must match the region as drawn on the map. Don't change an existing region's ID unless you're sure it matches the map itself.
  4. Set the Tab Label (the short name shown on the region's tab, e.g. "West Texas") and the Region Name (the main heading, e.g. "Region 1").
  5. Under Associations, list the local associations in that region and their member counts.
  6. Click Save.

Associations and counts are entered by hand

Each row under Associations is an association name and a Members figure you type in — these aren't pulled automatically from anywhere. The association count and total membership shown on the map are calculated from this list, so keep it current when membership figures change.
