Texas REALTOR® Magazine

Magazine Issues and Magazine Articles are both under Content in the left-hand menu. Issues are the containers (e.g. "April 2018"); articles belong to an issue.

⚠️ The magazine stops publishing at the end of 2026. After that this collection becomes an archive rather than something you add to regularly — check with your account contact before adding a new issue if you're reading this after that date.

Magazine Issues

  1. Click Magazine Issues in the left-hand menu.
  2. Click Create New.
  3. Fill in the Title (e.g. "April 2018") and Publication Date.
  4. Add a Cover Image.
  5. Attach the Digital Edition — the full-issue PDF — and a Share This PDF if this issue has one.
  6. Paste the Flipbook Embed URL, if this issue has a flipbook.
  7. Set Members Only if the issue should be restricted.
  8. Click Save.

There is no draft. Saving publishes an issue immediately — Magazine Articles is the one with the draft/preview workflow, not Issues. See Drafts and version history.

Why the PDF matters even with a flipbook

Readers see the issue as an embedded flipbook, but you still upload the Digital Edition PDF separately. That's deliberate: the PDF's text is what makes the issue searchable on your site. Search results for anything inside that issue link straight to the flipbook — the PDF exists purely so the content can be found, not as the primary reading experience.

Flipbook Embed URL

Paste the embed link from whichever flipbook tool the issue uses. This is a plain URL field on purpose, not tied to one provider — switching tools later is a content edit here, not a rebuild. Must be a full https:// address.

Magazine Articles

  1. Click Magazine Articles in the left-hand menu.
  2. Click Create New.
  3. Fill in the Title.
  4. Choose the Issue it belongs to — required.
  5. Set the Publication Date and Categories.
  6. Write the article using blocks.
  7. Save as a Draft while you work, then Publish.

Magazine Articles has the same draft/autosave/scheduled-publish workflow as News.

Members Only

Both issues and articles have their own Members Only tick box — you can restrict a whole issue, or restrict individual articles within an otherwise-public issue.
