Contact Leads

Contact Leads is under System in the left-hand menu. It's a record of every "contact this member" and staff "Contact Me" request submitted from the public website — separate from Form Submissions, which covers your own website forms.

You can't create a lead here. They're generated automatically whenever someone uses a "contact this member" link on a member's public profile, or a "Contact Me" link on a staff profile. There's no Create button, deliberately.

What you'll see

Each row shows who sent the message (Sender Name, Sender Email, Sender Phone), their Message, which Member or Staff person it was sent to, and how delivery went — Routed To, Delivered Via, Delivery Status, and a Delivery Error if it failed.

Every field is read-only — this is a record of what happened, not something you fill in.

Reading delivery status

If someone says they never received a contact request:

  1. Find the lead here and check Delivery Status — Sent or Failed.
  2. If it's Failed, check Delivery Error for the reason.
  3. Routed To shows where the system tried to send it — the member's account email, an alternate email, or their mobile, based on their own contact-request preference. If that preference is set to "Don't send me contact requests", no lead is generated at all — nothing to find here is not necessarily a fault.

This contains personal information

Every lead carries a name, an email address, and often a phone number and a written message. Only Editors and Admins can see this screen at all.

Deleting

You can delete a lead, and you should if someone asks you to remove their data. Act on removal requests promptly — this is the same obligation described for Form Submissions.
