Analytics
Analytics is under Site Features in the left-hand menu. It shows your website's traffic figures inside the CMS, so you don't need a separate Google Analytics login for a quick look — and it's also where you connect the Google account it reads from.
Only staff with "Can access analytics" ticked on their user record can see this screen. If it's missing from your menu, that's a setting on your account, not a bug — ask an Admin to enable it on the Users screen.
Connecting Google Analytics
If nothing shows yet, click Connect Google Account and sign in with the Google account that has access to your GA4 property. Once connected, the figures on this screen populate from that property.
This is normally a one-off setup job. Once it's connected, you shouldn't need to touch it again unless the connection expires or the wrong property was chosen.
What you'll see
Traffic over time, top pages, traffic sources, device and location breakdowns, and engagement figures — filterable by date range, with an export option.
If the figures look wrong or empty
- Has anyone connected a Google account? If the connect prompt is still showing, nobody has.
- Is it the right property? These sites are all built from the same template, and it's possible to connect the wrong association's GA4 property by mistake. If the numbers look implausible, check with support before assuming the site itself is broken.
- Not enough time has passed. A newly connected property has no history to show yet.
Don't connect an account you're not sure is this association's own. An implausible-looking number is worth a second look before treating it as fact.
